My Early Work!
In the spring of 2020 I was a sophomore in college and everyone was sent home because of Covid. I started sewing my old clothes into new clothes and posting on TikTok and Pinterest.
I made 2 pairs of patchwork sweatpants, both commissions for friends of mine.
I found ‘Fits the Vibe’, a thrift store in Salem NH which sold local artist’s clothes along with previously loved clothes. While they had a brick and mortar store I sold my designs there.
I also got to work with Photoroom, a photo editing app. I made social media content to help promote their app.
I made a wedding reception dress for my friend from college.
Working at Potpourri Group inspired me to learn the professional techniques of clothing design. I then decided to join the certificate program at The School of Fashion and Design.
