Red Pant Ensemble

The Red Three Piece Pant Ensemble features a vest with a slashed sleeve and pearl bead embellishments on the shoulders.

The blouse has a gathered empire seamline with bishop sleeves which pleat together at the cuff.

The pants have an inverted box pleat stitched to 3” below waistband on the front and back princess line and they release down the length of the pant.

Six sketches were made to help narrow down the design. The bottom left sketch represents the final design.

Pattern tested first in half scale for the first school project

All of the muslins are featured above

The centerfront, neckline, armhole, and hem were all interfaced with silk organza. A facing attached to the lining finishes the jacket.

The neckline of the blouse was finished with a bias facing.
